Legal action in the community

Asylum and Immigration

Since 1 April 2013 government funding cuts have limited the cases where we can provide representation.

We are now only able to take Asylum cases- where there is a risk of a breach of the Refugee Convention or of Article 3 of the European Convention of Human Rights.

We can provide advice and assistance with:

  • Applying for asylum
  • Support and accommodation for asylum seekers
  • Asylum and Article 3 appeals
  • Fresh asylum claims

We can also take on certain cases involving domestic violence and for victims of trafficking.

Despite the cuts to our funding we are still trying to provide some, more limited, advice on immigration and nationality.

Appointments are made via telephone on 020 7840 2000. Basic details will be taken by our trained receptionists and a call back arranged by one of our specialists. Alternatively, please use our advice contact form.
